Job Desription

Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the technical aspects of the delivery of the entire application.
• Ensure timely delivery of software projects while maintaining the quality, especially on technical perspectives.
• Translate the business requirements into Architecture principles and requirements.
• Ensure that application components align with the application architecture and meet the application performance goals.
• Define, document and maintain the architectures.
• Define test scenarios and expected results for the Production Test (with focus on Performance Test).
• Identify and address application and data issues that affect application integrity.
• Review the functional design created by Functional Design to ensure technical feasibility and quality.
• Review and sign off the technical design created by Technical Designer to ensure architecture principles are met.
• Provide detailed design and implement a framework for common components, interfaces, classes and methods based on the detailed design.
• Continuous research on new technologies and evaluate on the value it brings to the organization.
• Able to lead a team of analyst programmers in design and implementation of the project.
• Support the team lead in work planning.
• Communicate with the Enterprise Architects and Application Architects in the headquarter and participate in architectural discussions.
• Participate in daily SCRUM meetings.

Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Formal training and certification in architectural courses will be of added advantage.
• At least 8-10 years working experience in web or system development using Java and JavaScript. Preferably with OCPJP7 certification.
• Experience in designing and programming using SQL on the Oracle database.
• Experience in BI architecture and methodology will be of added advantage.
• Experience in Hadoop and Big Data will be of added advantage.
• Strong in object oriented analysis and design.
• Experience working with large-scale applications with high number of concurrent users.
• Good working knowledge of software architectures.
• Strong motivation and proven ability to work independently.
• Has the personality of a good team player.
• Good communicator, fluent in English and ability to clearly express oneself.
• Highly passionate for software development, with interest in learning new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have solid background in software development.
• Have positive attitude to meet new challenges.
